Honda submits design for a new sedan to EU office of design and trademarks
We were just perusing the EU's database of trademarks and designs and came across this submission from Honda. This one is pretty fresh, with a filing date of June 4th.
The design itself is intriguing, as it seems to combine some styling elements of the American-market Accord and the TLX, though this vehicle appears to possibly be longer than either the Honda or Acura. We'll be watching the upcoming Frankfurt and Paris motor shows to see if Honda will reveal anything about this new sedan.
UPDATE: This vehicle appears to be based upon the upcoming (Chinese) Honda Spirior, a concept of which was revealed at Auto China 2014 this past April. We have added a photo of the Spirior to the gallery for comparison. Thanks to 'KS34' for the reminder of the Spirior.
