Honda CR-V Black & White Editions unveiled in the UK [videos]Honda has unveiled the CR-V Black and White Editions in the United Kingdom.
Described as a real head tuner, the special editions are equipped with a mesh grille, side running boards and body color skid plates. The crossovers also have privacy glass, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a chrome exhaust tip and 19-inch Orion-style alloy wheels.
Interior changes are limited but the models come nicely equipped with dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation.

The special editions are currently on sale and the petrol variant starts at £28,400 (OTR).

Both the Black Edition and White Edition feature black-accented 19-inch Orion alloy wheels, a black exhaust finisher and privacy glass. The body has also been tweaked, adding a new patterned front grill and a tailgate spoiler, front and rear skid plates and integrated running boards.
The CR-V models are being promoted as "the new head-turner from Honda," with an online survey campaign that currently shows a slight preference for the black variant.
Both benefit from upgrades typically offered in the CR-V SE-T package, including dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth HFT, front and rear parking sensors, power-folding door mirrors and satellite navigation.
Consistent with the full range, buyers can choose from a manual or automatic transmission paired to a 2.0-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine or 2.2-liter i-DTEC oil burner.
Prices start at £28,400 (~$47,300 USD) for the gasoline variant with a manual transmission, though Honda promises the special editions actually represent a savings of £770 (~$1280 USD) compared to the similarly-equipped SE-T package. It is unclear if the company plans to expand availability to other markets beyond the UK.

Both models are identical in terms of spec/extra equipment gained, the color scheme being the only differentiating factor.
They get “distinctive styling is enhanced with the addition of bold 19-inch Orion alloy wheels, exhaust finisher and privacy glass,” plus “a new patterned front grille gives a more powerful expression of performance, while a tailgate spoiler extends the flowing lines of the roof over the rear window to give a sleek, dynamic look. Smoothly integrated running boards add practicality and visual impact.”
Tech features are also added in: dual-zone climate control, high-power Bluetooth, front and rear parking sensors, power-folding mirrors and sat nav come as standard. Honda says that those who go for one of the two packs will be saving £770 compared to the CR-V SE-T that they are based upon.
